It takes a village to build a bright future for a kid

What is STEM?

STEM is an acronym for science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. When these four disciplines come together, they emphasize innovation, problem-solving, and critical thinking. They can be found in the careers around us today and, more importantly, tomorrow's jobs.

STEM events are not only fun but educational and allow the students to explore solutions to engineering problems, solve math problems and investigate science phenomena with the most important adults in their lives and their community. Moreover, our community is given the opportunity to participate in our child’s learning actively. It’s an exciting and memorable evening that can be a pivotal moment in their future.

All kids should feel they have a place in our future.

We partner with schools and community businesses to give kids access to real-life STEM applications. You don't have to be a "straight A" math or science student to work in a STEM job. The innovation of STEM is around us already.

We turn our cities into STEM classrooms. As a result, our kids see how important science, technology, engineering, and math are to the world they live in. Our STEM city is not your everyday STEM night. Instead, we make STEM local through interactive, hands-on experiences driven by the businesses they know in our community.

It takes a village to build a bright future for our kids.

Education is not the filling of a pail but the lighting of a fire.

Prepare to have your minds blown. Bath and its surrounding community are throwing the biggest celebration for STEM (science, technology, engineering & math) on April 6th. I know what you're thinking. It sounds like school. Here's where you're wrong. STEM is the magic behind innovation and can be found everywhere in Bath. Have you ever experienced virtual reality? Now's your chance. Learn firsthand about 3D printing, flying drones, making candy explode in your mouth, and how to bend wood with steam (to name a few). Your kids are going to love it!

Let us help you bring your classroom lessons to life. Our STEM City was designed for you and your students! Our goal is to inspire your kids by engaging them in STEM Experiments. Please help us promote our April 6th event to your classroom community, and you might win a STEM prize for your class. We're giving away awesome gifts for the classes with the highest attendance to our event.

Do you have an idea for a STEM table? We'd love for you to be a part of our event. Click the "read more" button to hear how to connect with our team.

Are you interested in helping Our STEM City? There are several ways for you to make a difference. Click the "READ MORE" link to find out how to become an exhibitor, donate to STEM programs in our schools, or volunteer on April 6th at our event.

Even the smallest gestures can make the biggest difference to our kids.
